We are a small Australian outdoor travel company looking for a Product Software Engineer to join our Logistics Team.
This is a full-time, long-term position where you will become an integral part of the company. You will design, build and improve software that supports our operations and customer experience.
We are not hiring for a particular programming language or framework. We want an adaptable engineer who can understand a problem, choose an appropriate technical approach and take a solution through the complete software development lifecycle.
The role
You will:
Translate business problems into practical software solutions.
Design and build applications, systems and integrations.
Select technologies based on the needs of each project.
Take projects from discovery and architecture through development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Improve existing systems as well as build new products.
Use AI-assisted development workflows to prototype, build and debug efficiently.
Learn how the company operates and progressively take independent ownership of projects.
About you
You should have:
Experience building and shipping complete production applications or systems.
A strong understanding of software architecture and the development lifecycle.
The ability to work across different technologies and learn unfamiliar tools quickly.
Experience turning unclear requirements into structured, maintainable solutions.
Strong testing, debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience using AI-assisted development workflows responsibly.
Can use AI coding tools effectively while remaining responsible for code quality, testing and maintainability.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-technical colleagues.
A focus on outcomes, reliability and long-term maintainability.
We care more about what you have built and how you approach engineering problems than whether you match a fixed technology list.
What you get
Starting monthly salary of AUD 1,150, based on experience, with annual raises and potential bonuses.
Working hours of 9:00 am–5:00 pm Manila time.
13th-month pay.
Paid sick leave.
25 flexible days of paid time off, including holidays.
Fortnightly pay.
No requirement to use TimeProof.
