Location: Remote (Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST)
Option for Part Time or Full Time Work

IMPORTANT: Applicants must have full-cycle accounting experience and be capable of managing all aspects of the accounting process independently, with minimal supervision.

About Us:
We are a growing residential construction and development company focused on high-quality infill housing projects. We are a small, high-performing team that takes pride in delivering exceptional results for our clients. Every team member plays a meaningful role and is trusted to take ownership of their work. We value people who are highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently within well-defined systems and processes. Our culture is built around accountability, clear communication, and supporting one another so everyone can perform at a high level. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys taking initiative, keeping things organized, and being part of a professional team that holds itself to a high standard.

Compensation:
We offer competitive full-time compensation based on experience and performance. We value long-term team members and reward reliability, strong performance, and growth within the company. This position is best suited for someone looking for stable, long-term work with a professional team, not short-term freelance work.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in maintaining our books and financial systems, ensuring smooth operations across multiple residential building projects.

Job costing and tracking expenses across multiple projects
Preparing and filing sales tax returns
Cash flow reporting and management
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll coordination and reporting (if applicable)
Producing monthly and ad-hoc financial reports
Working with our project managers to align financial records with job progress
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
Collaborating with leadership to improve financial workflows

Required Qualifications:
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience with QuickBooks Online
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
Must be available to work during normal business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST)

To Apply:
When applying, please address your application message to David, and begin your application message with the phrase Systems Create Success. Attach you resume as well. Also please include a short video recording of yourself describing your relevant work experience.

Thank you!
We look forward to hearing from you!
