JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT US
We run multiple Shopify stores in fashion and home decor, selling internationally through Google Shopping. We're a small, fully remote team looking for an experienced operator to take ownership of the day-to-day business.

THE ROLE
You'll manage the operation of the business and own the "frontend": everything a customer sees before they buy. You lead the listing team, work closely with our Backend Manager (customer service, suppliers, fulfillment) and report directly to the founder. The founder sets the goals and direction; you own the execution.

This is a senior role. We're looking for an A-player who thinks like an owner, not someone who waits for instructions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operations & leadership
- Translate company goals into targets, plans and weekly priorities
- Coordinate between departments and keep projects moving: scope, deadlines, follow-up
- Lead team meetings and report on progress and performance
- Write and improve SOPs so the team can work independently
- Hire, onboard, train and evaluate team members
- Spot problems and bottlenecks early and fix them

Products & listings
- Product research and selection: find and test new products and trends
- Oversee product listings: titles, descriptions, images, size charts, product details
- Keep catalogs clean: remove underperformers, refresh and improve existing listings
- Quality control on the team's output

Store optimization & growth
- Improve store conversion: product pages, collections, navigation, trust elements, offers
- Competitor research: pricing, products, store design, promotions
- Plan seasonal and promotional campaigns (e.g. Black Friday, holidays)
- Support new store launches and expansion into new markets

Pricing, data & performance
- Manage pricing and margins across stores and markets
- Monitor KPIs: revenue, conversion rate, margins, product performance
- Use data to d ---------- what to scale, fix or stop
- Work with ad agencies, media buyers and other partners on product feeds and performance

MUST-HAVES
- 4+ years of hands-on Shopify e-commerce experience
- 2+ years managing a team (hiring, training, setting targets, giving feedback)
- Proven track record of growing a store or e-commerce operation: you can show concrete results (revenue, conversion, margin or efficiency improvements)
- Experience running multiple stores or a large product catalog at the same time
- Strong analytical skills: you work confidently with P&L numbers, margins, conversion rates and large Google Sheets
- Experience writing SOPs and building processes that others follow
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Highly organized and reliable: you deliver what you commit to, on time, without reminders
- Available full-time with overlap during European business hours
- Stable internet and a backup power/internet solution

NICE-TO-HAVES
- Dropshipping experience (fashion or home decor)
- Knowledge of Google Shopping, Google Merchant Center and product feeds
- Experience with multi-market / multi-currency selling (UK, US, EU, AU)
- Experience working with suppliers or sourcing agents in China
- Experience using AI tools to automate or speed up work
- Basic design eye: you know what makes a product page convert

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
- You're used to only executing tasks someone else hands you
- You haven't managed people before
- You're looking for a side job next to other clients

TOOLS WE USE
Shopify, Google Sheets, Notion, Slack and our own internal tools

WHAT WE OFFER
- Full-time, long-term remote position
- Competitive monthly pay based on experience, with regular performance reviews
- Real ownership and a direct line to the founder
- Room to grow with the company

HOW TO APPLY
Send your CV plus a short message (max 200 words) covering:
1. Your Shopify / e-commerce experience and the stores you've worked on
2. A team you've managed and one concrete result you achieved (with numbers)
3. Your expected hourly rate
