JOB OVERVIEW

JM Logistics Group is a growing transportation company specializing in cargo van freight and medical courier services. We are focused on building consistent routes, direct contracts, and scaling our fleet.

--Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced dispatcher / logistics assistant who can keep our vans loaded, moving, and profitable every day.
This is a results-based role — your job is to find loads, communicate with brokers and shippers, and keep drivers on the road consistently.

Responsibilities:
- Find and book loads daily (DAT, Truckstop, direct shippers, courier platforms)
- Communicate with brokers, dispatch companies, and direct clients
- Negotiate rates and avoid low-paying loads
- Dispatch drivers and manage schedules
- Track loads, pickups, and deliveries
- Follow up with brokers and shippers for repeat business
- Help identify and secure direct contracts (medical courier preferred)

Pay Structure:
- Base pay (to be discussed)
- PLUS performance bonuses based on:
- Loads booked
- Revenue generated
- Contracts secured

Requirements:
- Proven dispatching experience (cargo vans, box trucks, or trucking)
- Experience using DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Must understand rate per mile and profitable loads
- Reliable, organized, and proactive

- Medical courier or pharmacy delivery experience
- Direct shipper outreach
- Contract negotiation

Expectations:
- Must be available daily (Monday–Friday minimum)
- Must communicate consistently with owner and drivers
- Must prioritize profit, not just booking loads
