JOB OVERVIEW

Ultimate Gainz is a growing women’s activewear e-commerce brand based on Shopify. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable freelance web developer who can jump in when needed to solve problems, build new features, and keep our online store running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and fix issues on our Shopify store (bugs, layout problems, broken features)
- Build custom features, pages, or integrations as needed
- Work with Shopify Liquid themes, apps, and third-party tools
- Help with product page optimization, site speed, and mobile responsiveness
- Implement design changes or new sections based on our direction
- Assist with API integrations (Shopify REST/GraphQL, third-party services)
- Occasionally support general web tasks outside of Shopify if needed

Requirements
- Strong experience with Shopify (Liquid, theme customization, Shopify APIs)
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Comfortable working with REST APIs and basic backend logic
- Problem-solver mindset — you figure things out instead of waiting for instructions
- Fast and clear communicator (English)
- Available during reasonable hours for quick turnaround when tasks come up
- Bonus: experience with Node.js, React, or Python

Work Arrangement
- On-call / as-needed basis — this is NOT a fixed-hours position
- Tasks will come in as they arise; some weeks may be busy, others quiet
- You’ll be paid for actual hours worked, tracked honestly
