About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Support Content Developer to help maintain and update client CMS websites as part of our ongoing maintenance retainer work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured content updates, working across multiple client sites, and collaborating closely with project managers and developers to keep websites accurate, polished, and up to date. You’ll primarily support maintenance retainer clients by making website content updates, formatting pages, publishing edits, and ensuring changes are implemented correctly across CMS platforms. This role requires availability during standard CST business hours (9am–5pm CST), even if the total weekly hours vary.


What You’ll Do

Update and maintain website content across CMS platforms for retainer clients
Publish text, image, and page updates accurately and efficiently
Review websites for formatting consistency, broken content, or display issues
Collaborate with project managers and developers to complete client requests
Communicate status updates and clarify content requirements when needed
Support ongoing website maintenance tasks and light QA checks before publishing
Help organize and manage incoming support requests and content tickets

What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Drupal, or similar systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
Comfortable managing multiple client requests and shifting priorities
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how websites function
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while staying responsive during CST business hours
Reliable internet connection and availability for team meetings between 9:00–5:00 CST
Bonus Points For
Experience working in an agency or client-services environment
Familiarity with ticketing/project management systems like ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or Asana
Experience with accessibility best practices and content formatting standards
Basic image editing or formatting experience using Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools

As a freelance Support Content Developer, you’ll work under an hourly contract with flexible scheduling, though availability during CST business hours is required to support client requests and team collaboration.
Typical workloads may vary based on project and retainer needs
