JOB OVERVIEW

We are a premier media company specializing in luxury wedding photography and videography. We are seeking a highly sophisticated, reliable Wedding Storyteller to be the driving creative force behind our feature films. This role requires an expert capable of delivering timeless, cinematic long-form narratives that meet the exacting standards of our high-end clientele.

What You’ll Do:
Cinematic Film Production: Produce final client films, including a 45–60 Second Teaser Film and a 4–6 Minute Highlight Film (4K export).
Aesthetic Matching: Develop and apply a proprietary Color Science that must closely match our signature wedding photography tones.
Curation & Storytelling: Review all RAW footage with a thorough and intentional eye, arranging shots to build narrative and Anticipation of key wedding ---------- nts.
Artistic Execution: Integrate advanced, elegant techniques like the sophisticated use of B-Roll (venue, details) and featuring IMPRESSIVE "WOW" shots (creative reflections, transitions, decisive ---------- nts) in every film.
Music & Mood: Source and license high-quality, non-generic music (e.g., ---------- ) that enhances the emotion and storyline of the wedding day.
Professional Workflow: Maintain extreme RESPONSIVENESS and CONSISTENCY in communication and delivery, setting and meeting realistic EXPECTATIONS.

What We’re Looking For:
Non-Negotiable: Proven, extensive experience editing high-end cinematic wedding films and long-form narratives.
Aesthetic & Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and a portfolio demonstrating a consistent, high-end wedding aesthetic.
Storyteller & Pacing Expert: A deep understanding of wedding day structure, emotional arcs, and the ability to build tension and deliver heartfelt ---------- nts effectively.
Reliability: Utmost commitment to Dependability and meeting all project deadlines.

Bonus Skills:
Experience developing and refining internal LUTs and export presets.
Familiarity with marketing or content creation goals for a luxury business.

Compensation:
Compensation will be a competitive per-project fee for each completed Teaser and Highlight Film. You will start on a per-project basis with the immediate opportunity for a consistent, high-volume, long-term contractor role.

Every frame and transition should feel intentional, elegant, and emotionally resonant. The goal is to create films that captivate and nurture—never overwhelm.

Creative Standards:
Integrate B-roll and supporting visuals only when they add true value, texture, or emotional impact.
Nothing should feel “added just because.”
Every element should serve the story and align with the luxury experience our clients expect.
The final edit should embody La Vie’s core aesthetic: cinematic yet effortless, emotional yet restrained, luxurious yet human.

To evaluate your ability to meet our standards, we require a comprehensive application process based on a real project.

Cinematic Test: Complete a sample Teaser and Highlight film edit using the RAW footage and creative brief for the Justine + Vinai wedding project. (Note: Details, RAW footage, and reference films will be provided upon initial contact).
