JOB OVERVIEW

Overview:

We are looking for a Landscape Planting Designer to bring life and character to an existing landscape plan through thoughtful planting design and 3D visualization. The house is currently under construction, and the landscape layout has already been defined, providing a clear framework to work within.

This is a great opportunity to focus on creativity within designated planting areas, where your expertise in plant selection, placement, and visualization will help elevate the overall look and feel of the project.

Scope of Work:

Work from an existing layout (to be provided)
Develop a cohesive planting design within designated areas
Select appropriate plants suited for the tropical climate (Philippines)
Arrange plants with proper layering (trees, shrubs, ground cover)
Ensure the design is visually balanced, practical, and buildable
No changes to layout, structures, or hardscape elements

Deliverables:

Planting Layout Plan (PDF)
Plant List / Legend (plant names, sizes if applicable, and quantities)
Editable 3D Model (REQUIRED – preferably SketchUp .SKP)
Rendered Images (3–5 views for client presentation)

File Requirements:

All files must be fully editable
3D model must be organized (layers/groups for easy modification)
We will retain full rights to review, edit, and reuse all submitted files
Revision Policy:

Includes up to 2 rounds of revisions
Feedback will be provided in a consolidated format

Requirements:

Experience in landscape planting / softscape design
Ability to create both planting layouts and 3D visualizations
Familiarity with tropical plants is preferred
Proficiency in SketchUp or similar tools
Strong design sense (not just drafting or rendering)

Timeline:

Initial submission: 3–5 days after receiving complete materials
Revisions: 2–3 days per round

Important Notes:

This is not a full landscape design project
The layout is already finalized and under construction
The task is to develop a thoughtful planting design and visualization within the existing plan
Output must be suitable for both client presentation and actual execution
