About the Role
We are looking for a top-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will help build the foundation of our sales pipeline. This is not a typical SDR role — you will help launch the brand, develop outreach strategies, build lead databases, and contribute to the overall business growth plan.
You will work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities, create systems, and generate qualified leads for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a high-quality database of cold leads across target industries (retail, cafés, hospitality, professional services, etc.)
Develop and execute cold outreach strategies
Identify and qualify potential clients for Ledger Lane accounting services
Assist with launch strategy and go-to-market planning
Contribute ideas for website development, messaging, and positioning
Research target markets and identify business opportunities
Schedule and coordinate discovery calls with prospective clients
Maintain CRM systems and track outreach activity and results
Work closely with leadership to refine the sales process
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is proactive, strategic, and capable of helping build something from the ground up.
Preferred experience includes:
Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development, or Lead Generation roles
Experience working with or selling to retail, café, hospitality, or small business sectors
Familiarity with the accounting or financial services industry is a strong advantage
Experience with cold outreach, CRM systems, and database building
Strong research and prospecting skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
