About Us:
CampKidz is transforming how families plan, budget, and coordinate summer camps and school breaks. Founded by two experienced business operations and merchandising professionals, we are building a multi-dimensional marketplace platform that unites parents and camp providers while streamlining scheduling, payments, and group carpooling. We have pooled our personal capital to fund our initial operations and are looking for our technical partner to round out the founding team.

The Role:
As our Founding CTO, you will own the technology strategy from day one. You will transition CampKidz from initial validation prototypes into a robust, scalable marketplace platform. You will not just manage code; you will help shape the strategic direction of our company.

Core Responsibilities:
• Architecture & Strategy: Design a scalable platform architecture supporting user accounts, calendaring, and split-payment transactions (Stripe Connect).
• MVP Execution: Lead the build of our Phase 1 MVP, managing external development resources or writing core code to hit our local launch window.
• Team Leadership: Source, vet, and manage high-quality software agencies or offshore development talent to control initial cash burn.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure our database structures meet COPPA requirements and protect family data.
• Investor Readiness: Partner with the co-founders during angel investment pitches to present our tech stack and technical roadmap.

Who You Are:
You are a full-stack engineer or technical product leader with experience building marketplace apps, social platforms, or SaaS booking engines.
You understand how to balance speed and quality, knowing when to leverage no-code/low-code tools for validation and when to write custom code.
You are excited by equity-driven startup upsides and want to build a household consumer brand from the ground floor.
Experience with payment infrastructure implementations (Stripe API) is a major plus.
