JOB OVERVIEW

Flight & Miles Brokerage Travel Specialist (Virtual Assistant) – Full-Time Remote

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Travel Specialist with experience in flight booking, airline loyalty programs, and miles redemption. This role involves handling complex bookings using points and miles with high accuracy.

- Search, analyze, and book flights using airline miles and loyalty programs
- Compare availability across multiple airline programs
- Identify best routes and redemption options, including partner airlines
- Recognize peak vs. off-peak award pricing
- Handle ticket issuance, changes, cancellations, and refunds
- Verify passenger details with zero-error tolerance
- Optimize travel based on miles efficiency and availability
- Communicate with clients via chat/email and provide solutions
- Maintain booking trackers, logs, and documentation
- Follow strict SOPs and double-check all transactions

Requirements:
- Experience searching award availability across programs (Emirates Skywards, Etihad Guest, Delta SkyMiles, Flying Blue, etc.)
- Strong understanding of frequent flyer programs and airline partnerships
- Experience in flight booking, travel agency, or similar role
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
- Reliable internet and dual monitor setup

Back Office & Operations:
- Track miles balances across multiple accounts
- Manage client profiles and travel preferences
- Record bookings, changes, and cancellations accurately
- Maintain organized documentation and confirmations
- Coordinate with airlines and partners as needed
- Monitor ticketing deadlines and ensure timely execution

Nice to Have:
- Experience with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.)
- Background in flight brokerage or concierge travel
- Experience handling complex or high-value bookings
