Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A)
We're looking for a Junior Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) to support our finance team in forecasting, financial reporting, budgeting, and business performance analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in financial planning and analysis while working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
You'll assist in maintaining financial models, tracking business performance, preparing reports, and ensuring financial data is accurate to support informed business decisions.
What You'll Be Doing:
Financial Planning & Analysis
Assist in preparing and maintaining financial models for weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Monitor actual business performance against forecasts and budgets.
Help identify financial trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular financial reports and performance summaries.
Reporting & Business Performance
Track revenue, expenses, and key financial metrics.
Assist in creating dashboards and reports for management.
Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic decisions.
Help monitor business performance and highlight significant variances.
Finance Operations:
Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Coordinate with external accountants or bookkeepers to ensure accurate financial records.
Assist in reviewing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Help maintain organized financial documentation.
Cash Flow & Payments:
Assist with cash flow tracking and reporting.
Help coordinate vendor payments and monitor payment schedules.
Support finance operations to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, sales, and leadership teams to gather financial information.
Support inventory and operational reporting when required.
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
What We're Looking For:
1–3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Finance, or a related role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
Basic understanding of financial statements and budgeting.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced business environment.
Experience with financial systems or ERP software is a plus.
