We are a fast-growing import and distribution business specializing in frozen meat and seafood in Metro Manila. Our model revolves around high-volume container transactions, structured procurement, and controlled capital deployment.
We are looking for a Financial Operations Manager to build and manage the financial backbone of the business. This person will work directly with leadership to ensure complete visibility into transactions, capital deployment, operational costs, and investor reporting.
This role is responsible for building financial systems from the ground up, creating operational dashboards, managing cash flow visibility, and producing clear reporting for internal management and investors.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of translating complex operations into clean financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Systems & Reporting
• Build and maintain financial models for container transactions
• Track revenue, costs, margins, and profitability across shipments
• Develop operational dashboards and financial reporting systems
• Maintain detailed financial records and transaction documentation
• Create monthly and quarterly financial summaries
Operational Visibility
• Track container-level economics (cost, sale price, margin)
• Monitor logistics costs, storage fees, and distribution expenses
• Build spreadsheets that track the full lifecycle of each shipment
• Work with operations to ensure accurate data collection
Investor Reporting
• Prepare clear investor reports for funded containers
• Track capital deployment and profit distributions
• Produce regular financial updates for stakeholders
• Maintain documentation for transparency and compliance
Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Manage company budgets and expense tracking
• Monitor cash flow across procurement cycles
• Forecast capital requirements for upcoming shipments
• Support financial planning for growth and expansion
Required Skills
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills
• Experience building financial dashboards and reports
• Ability to track operational data and translate it into financial insight
• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
Bonus:
• Experience in logistics, import/export, or commodity trading
• Experience preparing investor reporting packages
• Knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
