JOB OVERVIEW

Overview
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Financial Manager & Spend Optimization Specialist to handle financial tracking, spend monitoring, and profitability optimization across multiple business ventures (including a contractor qualifier service) as well as personal finances.

Your main goal will be to keep our accounts organized, track spending patterns, reduce unnecessary expenses to increase margins, strategically leverage credit card reward structures, and ensure clean financial records aligned with US Tax accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Card & Reward Optimization:

Routinely monitor credit card accounts across personal and business entities.

Audit spending categories to ensure all purchases are made on the optimal card/program to maximize cash back, points, and travel perks.

Track point balances, expiration dates, and high-value redemption opportunities.

Profitability & Cost Analysis:

Conduct line-item expense audits for our business operations (specifically Contractor Qualifier Connect / CQC).

Identify redundant software subscriptions, vendor overcharges, and operational inefficiencies.

Provide recommendations to increase profit margins and streamline cash flow.

Financial Oversight & US Tax Accounting Support:

Track and classify business and personal transactions weekly in accordance with US GAAP / US Tax rules.

Maintain clean, year-end tax-ready financial books and produce monthly profit & loss (P&L) summaries.

Properly categorize business expenses vs. personal draws to simplify tax preparation and audit readiness for our US CPA/tax accountant.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in financial analysis, bookkeeping, or operations management.

Strong knowledge of US Tax accounting principles, expense deductions, and standard IRS reporting categories.

High proficiency in credit card rewards strategies, points optimization, and financial tracking.

Proficiency with standard accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel/Google Sheets).

Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and absolute confidentiality.
