JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a ~20-person US-based outpatient mental health group practice that is growing fast. We’re looking for a skilled financial modeler to help us turn our operating data into clear, decision-ready models. This will initially be a Gig opportunity with the option to move to part-time as needs develop

What you’ll do
* Build and maintain a driver-based profitability model in Excel or Google Sheets, linking clinician headcount, caseloads, session volume, payer mix and reimbursement rates to revenue and margin
* Model payroll as a percentage of revenue under different compensation structures (salaried vs. fee-for-service clinicians)
* Run scenarios for hiring decisions, such as the break-even point for a new clinician or supervisor
* Produce a simple monthly dashboard P&L exports
* Document your assumptions so the leadership team can understand and validate the model
* Potentially manage and update our quickbooks account

What we need
* 3+ years building three-statement or operating models (please share an anonymized sample)
* Advanced Excel or Google Sheets: scenario tables, lookups, clean structure with no hard-coded numbers in formulas
* Written & spoken English good enough to explain your model to a non-finance reader
* At least 2 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time (9am to 5pm ET)

Nice to have
* Experience with US healthcare or professional services businesses (insurance billing, utilization, provider productivity)
* Familiarity with franchise royalty structures
* Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting exports
