JOB OVERVIEW

We are an Australian advertising agency looking for an experienced Philippines-based Finance Operations Coordinator to support our Finance Director and manage the day-to-day finance operations of our project-based business.

This is not a basic bookkeeping or VA role. We need someone who understands job profitability, WIP and project accounting, and who notices when the numbers don’t look right.

Responsibilities
- AP/AR, invoicing and reconciliations
- Month-end preparation
- Cash flow updates
- Job costing and WIP
- Monitoring project budgets, costs and profitability
- Identifying unbilled revenue, incorrect allocations and financial risks
- Following up the team when information is missing or incorrect
- Supporting P&L and management reporting
- Maintaining accurate records in AccountAbility by Counta

You must have
- Strong experience in a project-based business
- Hands-on WIP accounting and job costing experience
- Month-end accounting experience
- Experience working with Australian businesses
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Excellent English
Agency, media, creative, production or professional-services experience is highly regarded.
AccountAbility by Counta experience is a major advantage.
Remote, Philippines-based. Approximately 3 days per week initially, with some Sydney-hours overlap.
We are looking for someone proactive who investigates problems rather than simply processes transactions.
