Job Title: Part-Time Finance Manager

As we scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Finance Manager to bring structure, insight, and integrity to our financial operations.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Finance Manager oversees all accounting and financial activities for Healthdrop Manufacturing. This role ensures accurate reporting, compliance, and financial clarity to support decision-making and growth. You’ll work closely with leadership to translate numbers into actionable insights, so that the management team can use that data to make informed decisions and work to accomplish our company goals.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Reporting
Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, and month-end close process.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Maintain accurate cost accounting for production, materials, and labor.
Analyze trends, margins, and variances; provide actionable insights to leadership.
Support the CEO and CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Compliance & Process Integrity
Ensure GAAP-compliant financial records and reporting.
Coordinate with external CPA and fractional CFO for taxes, filings, and audits.
Oversee payroll accuracy and ensure compliance with state/federal laws.
Systems & Process Improvement
Refine accounting procedures and internal controls for scalability.
Document and implement financial SOPs.
Must include dog or cat in title to be considered
Support automation and efficiency in QuickBooks, payroll, and reporting workflows.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Admin to align cost tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management experience
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, GAAP, cashflow management, and financial statements.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; able to build and maintain financial models.
Experience with payroll systems and cost accounting preferred.
Exceptional accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight.

Compensation & Schedule
Part-time (15–20 hours per week)
Flexible schedule with one consistent 4-hour block during business hours for communication and reporting
Eligible for PTO and performance-based bonus
