JOB OVERVIEW

We are an Airbnb style business based in the UK, with 30 properties owned and expanding to 50 by the end of the year.

You will be reporting directly to the owner and is an exciting chance to join a rapidly expanding business.

The candidate must be:
Educated to Degree Level in Accounting
3yrs Post Degree Level Experience
Experience of Xero Accounting Software
Experience in preparing & analysing management accounts
Experience with multi-site property, hospitality or serviced accommodation.
Strong written English and confidence explaining figures.
Self Starter who needs little instruction to carry out duties

Duties will include:

Xero bookkeeping accuracy and month-end close.
Bank, credit-card, payment-platform and intercompany reconciliations.
Supplier invoice collection, matching and approval preparation.
Allocation of income and expenditure by property.
Property-by-property and group profit-and-loss reporting.
Monthly management accounts with commentary on variances.
Owner statements and management-fee calculations.
Accounts payable and preparation of payment runs.
Payroll preparation.
Cash-flow forecasts covering at least 13 weeks.
Debtor, creditor and outstanding-invoice reporting.
Financial controls, audit checks and duplicate-payment detection.
Preparation of clean year-end files for your UK accountant.
Supporting acquisition due diligence and financial modelling.
