Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Remote Finance Assistant with a background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will support the finance and accounting team by maintaining accurate records, tracking project-related expenses, and assisting with daily financial and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, bills, and payment records
Assist with payroll processing and review employee time records
Track project expenses, job costs, vendor transactions, and subcontractor payments
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Assist with monthly closing, budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial reporting
Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups
Review and organize receipts, vendor documents, payroll records, and compliance files
Coordinate with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal tea
Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial summaries for management
Provide additional finance, bookkeeping, and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
Previous experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or similar accounting software
Knowledge of job costing, payroll, invoicing, and contractor billing
Experience handling vendor invoices and subcontractor payment records
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Reliable computer and internet connection
Availability to work during U.S. business hours
