As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance & Accounting Associate to support our day-to-day financial operations and help keep our accounting processes accurate, timely, and organized.

About the Role
The Finance & Accounting Associate will primarily support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, along with general accounting and finance activities.

This is a hands-on role for someone with solid accounting experience who is comfortable managing financial transactions, recurring deadlines, reconciliations, and follow-ups with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
1. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and send customer/client invoices
- Monitor outstanding invoices and accounts receivable balances
- Follow up on overdue invoices and payment status
- Record and reconcile customer payments
- Maintain accurate AR records and supporting documentation
- Assist with customer inquiries related to billing and payments
- Prepare AR aging reports and payment status summaries
- Identify and escalate overdue or unusual accounts
2. Accounts Payable
- Process vendor and supplier invoices
- Verify invoices against supporting documentation and approvals
- Track upcoming payments and AP due dates
- Prepare payment requests and supporting documentation
- Record and maintain accurate AP transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Follow up with internal teams regarding missing invoices or approvals
- Maintain organized AP records and documentation
3. General Accounting & Finance Support
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and spreadsheets
- Assist with expense tracking and reimbursement processing
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
- Support audits by providing requested financial documentation
- Help maintain organized digital accounting files
- Assist with other accounting and finance projects as assigned

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- At least 2 years with Quickbooks, Ramp, Stripe or similar tools
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and account tracking
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong follow-through and ability to consistently track outstanding items
- Comfortable working with financial data, spreadsheets, and accounting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team
- Proactive, reliable, and accountable
- Able to handle confidential financial information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting month-end closing and financial reporting
- Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients
- Experience working with remote or international teams
