We are looking for that person.
Maid In America Cleaning Services is hiring a highly organized Field Service Scheduling & Operations Virtual Assistant to coordinate mobile cleaning teams, maintain accurate operational data, and communicate with customers when schedules change.
This is not a general administrative assistant role. You must have previous experience scheduling or dispatching employees who travel to customer locations.
What You’ll Do
Your primary responsibility will be helping keep our field operations organized and running on schedule.
You will:
-Prepare and adjust cleaning schedules in Jobber
-Coordinate changes caused by call-outs, delays, and customer rescheduling requests
-Identify overlaps, drive-time issues, staffing conflicts, and other schedule problems
-Reassign or resequence jobs within established guidelines
-Answer inbound customer calls related to scheduling and basic support
-Make outbound calls to communicate delays and schedule changes
-Maintain accurate customer, job, and service information
-Update operational trackers and reports
-Complete invoicing, payroll-support, and cost-of-service tasks
-Escalate decisions that require management approval
You will follow established processes while also using judgment when a situation does not perfectly match the written procedure.

Required Experience
You must have previous experience scheduling or dispatching mobile field teams.
Relevant industries may include:
-Residential cleaning
-HVAC
-Plumbing
-Electrical
-Landscaping
-Pest control
-Home health
-Delivery
-Property maintenance
-Other field-service businesses
General calendar management, appointment setting, or meeting scheduling alone does not meet this requirement.
Strongly Preferred
-Direct Jobber experience
-Experience with other field-service platforms
-Customer phone support experience
-Dispatch or logistics experience
-Google Workspace
-Slack
-Spreadsheet and reporting experience
Work Requirements
-Full-time availability
-Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Central Time
-Fluent spoken and written English
-Reliable computer and dedicated workspace
-Reliable internet connection with a backup option
-Backup power solution
-No work for another employer or client during scheduled working hours
Compensation
$6–$8 USD per hour, based on directly relevant experience.
Candidates with direct Jobber experience, mobile-team scheduling experience, and strong customer phone skills will receive priority consideration.
