ABOUT SULLIVAN
SULLIVAN is a growing direct-to-consumer women's fashion brand based in the United States. We create timeless, high-quality wardrobe essentials for professional women in their 30s. Our brand aesthetic is clean, sophisticated, and elevated - and our imagery needs to reflect that.
We're looking for a skilled image editor who specializes in fashion and apparel photography to help us maintain beautiful, consistent visuals across our website and social media.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Product Image Editing (50%)

Edit product photography for website listings
Remove wrinkles from garments naturally (this is critical - we photograph real clothes, not steamed-to-perfection samples)
Adjust lighting for consistency across all product images
Color correction to ensure accurate fabric colors
Background cleanup or removal
Maintain consistent editing style across all product images

Model/Lifestyle Image Editing (30%)

Edit on-model photography for website and marketing
Natural skin retouching (light touch - we want real, not plastic)
Garment smoothing and wrinkle removal on worn pieces
Lighting and color adjustments
Minor background cleanup

Social Media Quick Edits (20%)

Fast turnaround edits for Instagram, email, and ads
Cropping and resizing for different platforms
Quick fixes and touch-ups on trunk show or event photos
Same-day or within-hours delivery when needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience editing fashion or apparel photography
Expert-level retouching skills - especially fabric/garment editing
Wrinkle removal specialty - must be able to smooth garments naturally without making them look fake or overly processed
Strong eye for natural editing - we do NOT want heavy-handed, over-edited images
Lighting expertise - ability to correct and enhance lighting naturally
Fast turnaround capability - able to deliver urgent edits in 1 hour or less
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (required) and Lightroom
Excellent English communication for feedback and revision requests
Reliable internet connection for quick file transfers

Our Editing Style (IMPORTANT)

What we WANT:
Natural, clean, elevated look
Subtle wrinkle removal that looks realistic
True-to-life colors
Light, airy feel
Skin that looks like skin (pores are okay!)
Clothes that look like real clothes (not CGI)

What we DON'T want:
Over-smoothed, plastic-looking fabrics
Heavy skin retouching or blurring
Unrealistic colors or oversaturation
HDR or overly processed looks
Anything that looks "fake" or "edited"

Experience with DTC fashion brands
Understanding of current fashion photography trends
Experience editing for e-commerce platforms (Shopify)
Ability to batch edit efficiently
Experience with Capture One

Regular Website Updates:
New product launches (5-15 images per style)
Seasonal photography updates
Turnaround: 24-48 hours
Quick Social Media Edits:
Instagram post or story images

Event/Trunk Show Photos:
Quick cleanup of iPhone or event photos
Turnaround: Same day
Campaign Photography:
Larger lifestyle shoots
Turnaround: 3-5 days for full set

HOW TO APPLY
