The Family Law Paralegal will provide comprehensive litigation support in complex divorce, custody, child support, and post-decree matters. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing sensitive cases with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, and discovery requests/responses
Prepare and organize financial affidavits and supporting documentation
Manage case files from intake through trial and post-decree proceedings
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and third parties
Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
Maintain calendaring of court deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules
Coordinate mediation, hearings, and depositions
Conduct legal research as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of family law paralegal experience (Colorado experience preferred)
Strong understanding of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and family law process
Experience handling high-asset and complex financial cases preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
High level of discretion, professionalism, and client sensitivity
