JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a skilled video editor to help produce engaging, high-retention YouTube videos for a travel-focused channel.

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent weekly work for the right person.

What You’ll Do:
-Edit 15–20 minute YouTube videos using provided scripts and voiceovers
-Source and insert relevant B-roll (travel footage, city clips, lifestyle visuals, etc.)
-Add smooth transitions, light motion graphics, zooms, and cuts to keep the video engaging
-Sync visuals with the voiceover for strong storytelling and pacing
-Maintain fast pacing to maximize viewer retention
-Add background music and sound effects where appropriate

Style We’re Going For:
-Similar to channels like “Travel Awaits You” — clean, engaging, and documentary-style storytelling (not over-edited, but not boring).

Requirements:
-Experience editing YouTube videos (please provide samples)
-Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
-Ability to find high-quality B-roll footage
-Good internet connection for file transfers
-Attention to detail and ability to follow direction

Nice to Have:
-Experience with travel or documentary-style content
-Understanding of YouTube retention and viewer psychology
-Basic motion graphics skills
