We run paid
comment on those ads every week. Some are ready to buy and just need one honest
answer. Some are asking a real question. Some are there in bad faith. Your job is
to read every one, d
That is the whole job, and it matters more than it sounds like it does. Every
comment section under our ads gets read by hundreds of shoppers before they d
whether to trust us.
WHAT YOU WILL DO EVERY DAY
. Work through the comment queue in our own dashboard (not
. Reply publicly to buying questions, product questions and happy customers
. Moderate bad faith and misleading comments according to our written policy
. Leave genuine conversation alone, even when it sounds blunt
. Move order and billing issues into private messages instead of handling them publicly
. Escalate anything involving health, safety or money instead of guessing
. Every reply is written fresh for that person. Nothing canned goes under an ad.
WHAT THIS JOB IS NOT
. No cold outreach, no sales calls, no lead generation
. No graphic design, no video editing
. No running the ads themselves
. No overnight shifts
WHO THIS IS RIGHT FOR
. You write natural, warm, correct English. Not stiff, not formal, not "Dear valued customer"
. You have thick skin. People will be rude and you will stay calm and friendly anyway
. You have judgment. The rules cannot cover everything, and we would rather you
think than follow a script off a cliff
. You are consistent. This is a daily queue, not a project. Showing up every day
is most of the value
NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED
. Experience moderating comments for an ecommerce brand or agency
. Familiarity with Meta Business Suite
. Interest in skincare or beauty
THE DETAILS
Full time, 40 hours a week. You must be able to work hours that overlap US business
hours. Paid monthly by PayPal, and we cover the PayPal receiving fee so you get your
full amount. Time tracked with Hubstaff. This is a long term role. We are hiring
someone to own this, not to cover a gap.
HOW TO APPLY
Do not send a generic resume or a template cover letter. Answer these five questions
in your application message:
1. Have you moderated comments or messages for a brand before? Which brand, which
platform, roughly how many a day. If you never have, just say so, it is not a
dealbreaker.
2. Which hours of your day can you work, and what is your timezone?
3. Rate your written English from 1 to 10, then tell us what your weakest point is.
The second half is the part we actually read.
4. A woman comments on our ad: "Does this actually work? I have dark circles and I
have tried everything." Write the exact reply you would post. Keep it short and
warm, the way a real person types. You may not promise her a result and you may
not give medical advice.
5. Tell us about a time a customer or a stranger online was rude to you. What did
you actually do?
Please write your own answers. We can tell when an answer came from ChatGPT, and it
is an automatic no. The entire job is sounding like a real human being, so an
application that does not sound like one has already answered our biggest question.
Short and honest beats long and polished.
Shortlisted applicants get a short second test using real comments from our ads,
then one paid trial day on the live queue before anyone is hired.
When applying respond with the word " TLC" so we can tell you read the application.
We reply to everyone who applies properly.
