JOB OVERVIEW

Company Overview. BKG is a Dutch home-renovation group. A big part of our reach comes from Facebook groups with a large, active membership across the wider BKG group. We need a community manager to keep those groups alive, welcoming and on-topic.

Job Description. You run our Facebook groups day to day: approve members, post prompts, spark and moderate discussion, answer basic questions and flag leads. You keep the tone friendly and the group active. Posts are in Dutch (we provide AI help + a native check), so you don’t need to speak Dutch — but you work cleanly with checked text and never let sloppy Dutch out.

Major Functions.
• Approve members, moderate posts, keep groups on-topic and welcoming.
• Post regular prompts/questions to spark engagement (from a content calendar).
• Answer basic questions; flag potential leads to the sales team.
• Keep a consistent daily rhythm across the groups.

Required Skills.
• 1+ year managing Facebook groups or online communities.
• Consistent, reliable daily presence; good judgment on tone.
• Comfortable working with provided (translated) Dutch text + a native check.
• Good written English.
• Nice-to-have: home/interior interest, Canva, Dutch-market feel.

Availability. ~20 hrs/week, spread across the week for daily presence.

Expectations. You keep the groups feeling alive and human every day, and you never let off-brand or sloppy Dutch go out — you use the AI + native-check process.
Working Conditions / Salary. $199/month. Part-time now, with room to grow as the community scales.

Bonuses. Paid Time Off after 1.5 months · salary reviews every 2–3 months · professional-development budget · second monitor after 6 months · new laptop after 2 years.

How to Apply. Start your message with the word “GROUP” so we know you read the full post. Then, briefly:
1. Describe a Facebook group or online community you managed: size, what you did daily, how engaged it was.
2. In 2–3 sentences: the group has gone quiet for a few days. What are the first 3 things you post or do to wake it up?
3. You’ll post in Dutch using text we provide + a native check. How do you make sure nothing sloppy or off-tone goes out?
We read every application that starts with the codeword and answers the questions specifically. Generic or copy-paste replies aren’t considered.
