Ji Martial Arts is a premium martial arts performance brand founded by brothers Joshua and Joel Iyalla — elite martial artists with over 35 years of combined experience and a combined following of 3.5 million across social media. Our founder Joshua Iyalla holds three Guinness World Records including the world's fastest puncher. UFC fighter Michael "Venom" Page uses and endorses our product.
We are full-time content creators with over 10 years of combined experience in the industry. We understand content deeply and know exactly what we want. We need an editor who shares that same understanding — someone who can take our vision and bring it to life on screen with precision and creativity.
We are hiring a part-time
What the role looks like week to week:
This is a lean, structured role with predictable hours. You will work primarily on Mondays (6 hours) to source clips, edit all ads for the week, and deliver them for review. You will also attend a short tea
Growth potential:
This role starts part-time, but that will not stay the case for long. As Ji Martial Arts scales — increasing ad volume, launching new products, and expanding into new content — the demand for editing will grow fast. The right person will find their hours and responsibilities increasing naturally with the brand. For the editor who performs, full-time is a very realistic outcome.
What you will do:
Receive ad scripts via Slack every Monday and edit 3–5
Source your own clips from our Airtable raw clips library
Generate AI voiceovers using ElevenLabs where required
Apply your own creative judgement on music, SFX, pacing, and visual effects
Log all clips used in Airtable after each edit
Upload finished edits to Google Drive following our naming convention
Move cards through our Notion pipeline at each stage
Attend a weekly tea
Action revision feedback when required
What we need from you:
Proven experience editing
Proficiency in CapCut — this is mandatory, not optional
A strong creative eye with the ability to match a premium, cinematic aesthetic
Familiarity with Airtable and Notion, or the ability to get up to speed quickly
Reliability — you hit deadlines and communicate proactively
Self-sufficient — you do not need to be hand-held through every task
This role is NOT for you if:
You have never edited a paid ad
You are not proficient in CapCut
You need every asset handed to you before you start
You cannot commit to Monday as your primary working day

Applications without a portfolio of ad work will not be reviewed.
