JOB OVERVIEW

SV Chess Academy is a growing chess academy serving kids and families across the San Francisco Bay Area. We currently have one campus in Santa Clara — and we are expanding fast across the Bay Area.
We are looking for a sharp, driven Facebook & Instagram Ads Manager to help us fill our classes with new students. This is a part-time role to start, with real growth potential as we scale.
What you will do:

Manage and optimize our Facebook & Instagram ad campaigns
Build and refine audience targeting to reach Bay Area parents of kids ages 5–14
Monitor campaign performance, adjust budgets, and improve results weekly
Report on key metrics (cost per lead, CTR, conversions) in a simple weekly update
Suggest improvements to ad strategy based on data

What we already have:

Ad creatives are handled — you focus purely on strategy, targeting, and optimization
Active campaigns already running — you are improving and scaling, not starting from zero
A clear, motivated team behind you

What we are looking for:

Real experience running Facebook/Instagram lead generation campaigns
Proven ability to work with small budgets and get results (under $1,000/month)
Experience targeting local or family-oriented audiences is a big plus
Self-starter who takes ownership, not someone who needs hand-holding
Reliable internet, professional workspace, and strong English communication

Compensation & growth:

Start: $10/hour, 5–10 hours per week
Path to $15–20/hour as results are proven — within 2026
Potential to grow into a full-time role as the academy expands
