JOB OVERVIEW

We're a premium cotton sleepwear brand selling through two Shopify stores (US and Australia). Shoppers increasingly ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews/AI Mode, and Gemini to recommend brands before they buy, and we want to be the name that comes up. We're looking for a specialist to make our stores as visible as possible to these AI engines ahead of our busy holiday season.

The role

This is a hands-on technical role focused on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI/agentic visibility, getting our brand recommended by AI assistants, backed by solid structured-data and technical SEO work. You'll work across both Shopify stores.

What you'll do

Implement and validate structured data (schema markup) across both stores: Product, Review, AggregateRating, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, WebSite, and SearchAction, wired to our existing review data ( ---------- and Klaviyo Reviews).
Correct and maintain our Organization metadata and homepage brand description.
Create and maintain a Wikidata entity for the brand, citing our existing press/PR coverage as references, and connect our official profiles via sameAs links.
Set up and configure a Trustpilot business profile (setup only — no writing or soliciting reviews).
Rewrite our agent-facing files (agents.md and llms-full.txt) with catalogue-specific content and PR citations, and repair our MCP endpoint so it returns a healthy HTTP 200 response.
Benchmark and report every fortnight: track whether our brand appears in AI-assistant answers for a set of target buyer queries, plus a monthly AI-visibility score and domain-authority tracking.

Must-have skills
Proven experience with Shopify (themes, product data, apps).
Strong, hands-on knowledge of ---------- / JSON-LD structured data and how to validate it.
Familiarity with how AI search engines and LLMs surface and cite brands (GEO / AI SEO).
Solid technical SEO fundamentals.
Clear written English and reliable fortnightly reporting.
Experience with Wikidata / knowledge-graph entities.
Understanding of agent files (agents.md, llms-full.txt) and MCP endpoints.
Experience with ---------- , Klaviyo, or Trustpilot.
Ecommerce apparel background.

Ways of working

You'll be given least-privilege store access (Themes, Products, Apps only) — you won't need or be given access to customer or order data. We handle our own PR, blog content, and advertising.
