Are you a talented video editor with a passion for creating captivating, fast-paced social media videos? I’m looking for a skilled professional to finalize high-quality 1-2 minute videos for my social media platforms.

About the Role

I need a highly dependable, truly exceptional video editor who can learn to replicate my video editing style. This role involves quick turn around times and large amounts of footage. I need someone passionate about storytelling and who has a great eye for selecting the best ---------- nts out of hundreds (sometimes thousands) of clips and arranging them in a way that goes along with a voiceover in the most compelling and powerful way possible.

You'll be assisting my team of video editors by stepping in during the second half of the video creation process, working with raw, already chopped footage, voiceovers, and initial edits I’ve prepared to produce videos ready for another tea ---------- mber to color grade. Each project will involve 20 minutes to 2 hours of pre-chopped footage, which you’ll sift through to select the best clips and create a 1–2 1/2 minute video that tells a compelling story.

Our team includes a part time video color-grader and captioner so most likely you will not be color grading or captioning the final videos. You will be our expert clip arranger who can arrange the footage according to my voiceover in a compelling way, using only the very best pieces of footage available.

This is a per project roll that pays $35 USD a video, with 3-7 videos a week. Our video output fluctuates, so some weeks there may be more work available for you if you'd like it.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and arrange video clips to align with pre-recorded voiceovers.

- Review and narrow down footage to select the most compelling clips.

- Craft engaging and visually appealing videos that flow naturally and tell a cohesive story.

- Incorporate relevant visuals such as screen recordings, maps, and on-screen text when necessary.

- Ensure videos feature dynamic intros/hooks to capture viewers' attention and match with video intros I've created in the past.

- Collaborate via DaVinci for seamless project sharing and updates.
