JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly experienced apparel product designer to work with our brand long-term to develop professional tech packs for our clothing products.

This is NOT a basic Illustrator job. We are specifically looking for someone with real product design and development experience in apparel, who can contribute ideas and improve product functionality — not just draw what we say.

Our brand focuses on technical performance clothing with sophisticated styling, so attention to detail and garment construction knowledge is critical.

You will work closely with our founder to turn product concepts into factory-ready tech packs that can go directly into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, factory-ready tech packs for apparel products
• Convert rough ideas, sketches, or references into professional garment designs
• Suggest construction improvements and product enhancements
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and components
• Create measurement specs and size charts
• Produce clear garment construction details (stitching, seams, panels, etc.)
• Prepare production-ready files for manufacturers
• Help refine designs to ensure they are practical and manufacturable

Required Experience

Applicants MUST have experience in apparel product design, not just graphic design.

Required skills:

• Experience designing technical apparel / sportswear / outerwear
• Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes
• Ability to build professional tech packs used by factories
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, stitching, and garment engineering
• Experience working directly with clothing manufacturers
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator

What We Are NOT Looking For
Please do NOT apply if you only:

• Trace garments in Illustrator
• Create basic fashion sketches
• Have no experience with real product development
• Have never worked with clothing factories

We are looking for someone who understands how garments are actually made.
