JOB OVERVIEW

We are a California-based company providing outsourced staffing solutions to international businesses. We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to produce high-quality, long-form YouTube content.

This is a full-time remote role for someone with strong storytelling skills, advanced technical knowledge, and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging, polished videos.

Key Responsibilities
• Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final delivery
• Create engaging stories through strong pacing, visuals, music, graphics, and sound
• Develop creative editing concepts, visual sequences, and animations
• Organize footage, project files, audio, graphics, and other editing assets
• Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and basic motion graphics
• Select appropriate codecs, formats, bitrate, compression, and export settings
• Troubleshoot rendering, missing media, project file, and export issues
• Maintain consistent editing quality and branding across all videos
• Deliver approximately 3 to 4 minutes of fully edited long-form content per working day
• Collaborate with the content and production teams to meet deadlines
• Review work and provide guidance to junior video editors when needed

Qualifications
• At least 5 to 7 years of professional video editing experience
• Advanced or expert-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual communication skills
• Strong understanding of video codecs, compression, bitrate, rendering, and export settings
• Experience with proxy workflows, color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics
• Ability to independently develop creative editing ideas
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality
• Experience reviewing or mentoring junior video editors is preferred
• Comfortable working during Sydney, Australia business hours
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment

Technical Requirements
• Windows 11 or macOS 13 or newer
• At least 8 GB of RAM, preferably 16 GB or more
• At least 256 GB of available storage
• Reliable computer capable of editing and rendering long-form videos
• Minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps
• HD webcam
• Reliable headset
• Quiet and professional remote workspace
