JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a video production and digital marketing agency in the States, looking for a fast, reliable short-form editor to join our remote editing team. You’ll be cutting content for roofers, builders, churches, and local businesses across the Gulf South: Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and the occasional long-form piece.

What you’ll do

Edit a minimum of 4-5 short-form videos per day (vertical, 15 to 90 seconds) from raw footage and a brief
Cut for retention: tight pacing, strong hooks, captions, sound design, and B-roll placement
Color grade long-form videos (interviews, brand films, progress videos) with consistent, clean looks
Build masks, tracked elements, and visual effects (text animation, transitions, compositing, clean-ups)
Follow our SOPs and client style guides, and turn around revisions quickly
Communicate daily with our Editing Lead on progress and delivery

What we need from you

3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio of short-form work
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (Resolve color page experience is a plus)
Strong color grading skills on long-form content, not just LUT-and-go
Confident with masking, motion tracking, and layered VFX
Able to sustain 4+ finished videos per day without quality dropping
Organized, deadline-driven, and clear in written communication (English)
Stable internet and a machine that handles 4K timelines

Nice to have

After Effects or Fusion experience
Experience editing for contractors, trades, or faith-based organizations
Familiarity with ---------- or similar review tools

Pay and structure

$400 to $800/month depending on experience and output, with room to grow as you prove speed and quality
Independent contractor (1099 equivalent), paid monthly via Wise
Remote, set your own hours, with a daily delivery minimum
