EXPERIENCED VIDEO EDITOR + CONTENT SHOOTER

We’re a growing travel, design & lifestyle content brand looking for an experienced Video Editor + Content Shooter to help shape our visual identity and storytelling.

We’re looking for a strong shooter-editor / filmmaker / content creator who can take a concept from the initial shoot through the final cut.

This is an experienced creative role. Portfolio and demonstrated skill are more important than simply having years of experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

* Film approximately 2 sessions per week, approximately 2 hours per session
* Produce a minimum of 8 finished videos per month
* Shoot and edit content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
* Handle pacing, storytelling, music, captions, color and sound
* Capture strong B-roll and create compelling visual narratives
* Independently plan and execute shots based on the creative direction
* Bring your own creative ideas and visual perspective
* Work collaboratively through creative reviews and revisions
* Help develop a consistent visual language for the brand

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience matters. Portfolio matters more.

We want someone with:

* A strong professional showreel / portfolio
* Excellent eye for composition, lighting and cinematography
* Strong understanding of pacing and short-form storytelling
* Ability to independently plan and execute shots
* Strong video editing, color and sound skills
* Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms
* Ability to work independently without step-by-step direction
* Strong creative judgment and attention to detail

Experience with travel, hospitality, design, architecture, food, fashion or lifestyle content is a strong plus.

MOST IMPORTANT: WE WANT SOMEONE WITH TASTE.

Someone who understands why one shot works better than another.

Someone who knows when to cut, when to hold a shot, how to create visual rhythm, and how to make a space, person or experience feel interesting.

Someone with a distinct visual point of view, rather than someone who simply follows editing templates.

EQUIPMENT

Having your own professional equipment is a plus, including:

* Camera
* Lenses
* Gimbal
* Audio equipment
* Lighting

Own equipment is preferred but not required.

PAID CREATIVE TRIAL

Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid 30–60 second editing trial using provided footage.

Trial fee: ?2,500

The purpose of the trial is to evaluate your editing judgment, pacing, storytelling, sound, color and overall creative taste.

COMPENSATION

?30,000–?40,000 per month

Compensation will depend on experience, portfolio quality, technical ability and overall creative fit.

The expected workload is approximately:

2 shoots/week + minimum 8 finished videos/month
