JOB OVERVIEW

Lucentia is a US-based brand run by a physician and stand-up comedian. We produce comedy clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and we also run an e-commerce reselling operation. I'm looking for reliable, experienced support with comedy content and an e-commerce business. You may apply for one role or more than one. You do not need to do all three, but you must be skilled and have hands-on experience in every role you apply for.

ROLES:

1. COMEDY VIDEO EDITING
Turn comedy footage into engaging clips with strong comedic timing, clean cuts, accurate captions, and clear audio. Follow the editing brief, including laugh sweetening when requested, and export in the requested formats. Share examples of comedy or similar short-form engaging edits and explain what you personally did.

2. SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING AND MANAGEMENT
Prepare, schedule, and publish content; write captions; organize a content calendar; and handle routine engagement according to instructions. Tell me which platforms you have managed, what you were responsible for, and provide relevant examples or results.

3. EBAY BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Create and update accurate listings, including titles, descriptions, item specifics, and photos. Keep product information organized and respond professionally to customer messages. You should have direct experience working with eBay listings and seller workflows.

WHAT MATTERS MOST
- Strong skills and proven experience in at least one role above.
- Careful attention to written instructions and details.
- Clear communication and dependable follow-through.
- Realistic turnaround times and early communication about any delays.
- Checking your own work before submitting it and applying feedback consistently.

PAID EDITING TRIAL
For comedy editing, I plan to hire approximately five shortlisted editors to edit the same single comedy clip using the same footage and brief. Each editor hired for the trial will be paid the agreed trial fee, whether or not selected for ongoing work. The scope, fee, and deadline will be agreed before work starts.

I'll compare the edits for comedic timing, overall quality, accuracy, communication, and how engaging it is. The strongest performer may be offered ongoing work. Applying for social media or e-commerce does not require completing a video-editing test. Ongoing responsibilities will match the specialty or specialties agreed with the selected person.
