JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Experienced UK Property Sourcer /Sourcing
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (to be discussed)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UK Property Sourcer with a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience sourcing property in the UK market — ideally with exposure to commercial and retail property. This is an opportunity to lead a new venture focused on sourcing retail and mixed-use assets, both on-market and off-market, across key UK cities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK property market, commercial property terminology, and deal structuring, with the ability to work independently to identify, qualify, and build a consistent pipeline of property opportunities aligned to our investment criteria.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-volume searches for suitable retail and commercial property opportunities across targeted UK regions.

Source both on-market and off-market opportunities through a combination of platforms, agent relationships, and direct outreach.

Develop and maintain relationships with commercial agents, property brokers, and landlords.

Create and manage a property pipeline of qualified leads that meet the company’s investment and acquisition criteria.

Present shortlisted and qualified opportunities to senior management once they reach agreed heads of terms or negotiation stages.

Monitor and report on market trends, pricing movements, and geographic variations across the UK.

Maintain accurate sourcing records, communications, and deal progress in CRM or other agreed formats.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience sourcing property in the UK market (commercial or residential).

Demonstrated experience and results in commercial property sourcing strongly preferred.

Familiarity with major UK property listing platforms (Rightmove Commercial, EG Propertylink, Realla, CoStar, Zoopla, etc.) and agent networks.

Strong understanding of UK geography, particularly key retail and commercial hubs.

Working knowledge of commercial property terms, deal structures, and acquisition processes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently.

Proactive, self-driven, and target-oriented with a hunger to grow a sourcing division.

What We Offer

Opportunity to lead and grow a sourcing function from inception.

Competitive remuneration and performance-based incentives.

Long-term growth potential into a senior leadership role overseeing the sourcing division.

Supportive and entrepreneurial environment with direct access to senior decision-makers.

To Apply

Please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining:

Your relevant property sourcing experience, including specific UK commercial property examples.

Why you believe you are suited to this role and would be the ideal candidate to lead this sourcing venture.

Important:
Generic or AI-generated responses will be immediately rejected — we’re looking for genuine, experience-based applications only.

Property Sourcing Candidate Questions

Please include answers to all the following questions in your application:

What is your current role and main responsibility?

Which countries have you worked in for sourcing or acquiring property? What type (land, residential, commercial)?

Was your sourcing experience primarily conducted online, by email, phone, letter, or other methods? Are you sourcing on-market or off-market opportunities?

On average, how many properties could you source or put forward per week?

Of the properties you sourced, approximately what percentage resulted in completed deals?

Have you worked in the UK property market before?

If yes, what platforms, tools, or resources do you currently use for sourcing in the UK?

Are you available for part-time work (around 10 hours per week)?

What is your availability to start, and what hourly rate are you looking for?
