JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a highly motivated **SEO Link Building Virtual Assistant** to help build the backlink authority of multiple U.S.-based websites in the real estate, mortgage, title, and related industries.

This position is primarily focused on one thing:

**Earning and building high-quality referring domains consistently.**

We are NOT looking for someone whose entire link-building strategy consists of purchasing cheap backlink packages.

We want someone who can research opportunities, build relationships, perform outreach, create profiles/citations, identify competitor backlinks, secure placements, and document every acquired link.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for finding and securing backlink opportunities through strategies such as:

* Competitor backlink research
* Guest post outreach
* Resource-page outreach
* Link insertions
* Business directories
* Local citations
* Industry directories
* Association websites
* Chamber of Commerce opportunities
* Real estate directories
* Mortgage directories
* Local business websites
* Professional profiles
* Web 2.0 properties where appropriate
* HARO-style journalist opportunities
* Digital PR opportunities
* Broken-link building
* Unlinked brand mentions
* Local sponsorship opportunities
* Partner/vendor links
* Niche edits where appropriate
* Link reclamation

PRIMARY KPI
Your primary performance metric will be:
**NEW QUALITY REFERRING DOMAINS ACQUIRED**

We care much more about obtaining links from **new, legitimate referring domains** than generating hundreds of links from the same websites.

DOMAIN AUTHORITY TARGETS
Our preferred opportunities include:

**Tier 1**
* DR 70+

**Tier 2**
* DR 50–69

**Tier 3**
* DR 30–49

Our primary focus is **DR40+ websites**, with additional emphasis on DR50+ and DR70+ opportunities.

LINK QUALITY MATTERS
A backlink should ideally come from a website that is:

* Indexed by Google
* Receiving legitimate organic traffic
* Relevant to the website or location
* Not obviously created exclusively for selling links
* Not overloaded with spam
* Not part of an obvious PBN
* Not primarily casino/adult/pharmaceutical/spam content
* Capable of providing a crawlable link
* A new referring domain whenever possible

We will prioritize **quality + relevance + authority**, not just DR.

DAILY WORK MAY INCLUDE
* Analyze competitor backlink profiles
* Create prospecting lists
* Find contact information
* Send personalized outreach
* Follow up on previous outreach
* Negotiate placements
* Submit business profiles
* Build citations
* Find local backlink opportunities
* Monitor acquired links
* Verify that backlinks are live
* Record URLs and anchor text
* Track referring domains
* Update link-building spreadsheets
* Report daily KPI performance

SEO TOOLS
Experience with any of the following is preferred:

IDEAL CANDIDATE
You should:

* Understand backlinks and referring domains
* Understand Domain Rating / Domain Authority concepts
* Know the difference between a quality link and a spammy backlink
* Understand anchor text
* Know how to conduct competitor backlink analysis
* Be excellent at Google research
* Be comfortable with email outreach
* Have strong written English
* Be persistent with follow-up
* Be highly organized
* Document your work accurately
* Be results-oriented

THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
* You only know how to purchase Fiverr backlink packages
* You believe 1,000 low-quality backlinks are better than one authoritative link
* You cannot explain the difference between backlinks and referring domains
* You rely completely on automated backlink software
* You do not track your work
* You disappear when outreach does not receive immediate responses

We operate multiple websites and intend to aggressively grow their organic authority and search visibility.

This means there is **a significant amount of long-term link-building work available** for the right person.
