JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced QA & Technical Integration Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and successful implementation of our applications, APIs, and third-party integrations. This role combines hands-on quality assurance with technical integration work, supporting both internal product development and external implementation across merchant websites, partner platforms, and third-party systems.

You will work closely with our engineering, product, and external technical teams to test features, validate integrations, identify issues early, and help deliver a high-quality product experience to our users and partners.

This is a fully remote role suited for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for a Next.js frontend and Node.js backend
Test RESTful APIs for correctness, reliability, performance, and edge cases
Integrate and support our APIs and related services across merchant websites, third-party platforms, and partner systems
Work closely with internal teams and external developers to ensure smooth implementation, testing, and launch of integrations
Troubleshoot technical issues across frontend, backend, API, and third-party systems during integration and post-launch support
Collaborate with developers throughout the development lifecycle to prevent defects and improve overall product and integration quality
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, QA documentation, and integration documentation
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
Perform regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing
Validate releases and integration readiness across multiple environments
Support merchants and partners during implementation by helping diagnose issues and confirm successful deployments
Advocate for quality, usability, reliability, and best practices across both product development and external integrations
Requirements
5+ years of experience in QA, software testing, technical integrations, or a similar hands-on technical role
Strong experience testing JavaScript-based web applications
Hands-on experience with Next.js, Node.js, and backend APIs
Experience integrating APIs into external websites, merchant systems, or third-party platforms
Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, and API-based architectures
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Selenium
Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple systems and environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience working with e-commerce platforms, merchants, or partner integrations
Experience with webhooks, authentication, authorization, or security-sensitive systems
Experience with performance or load testing
Experience working with cloud platforms
Experience working in agile development environments
