JOB OVERVIEW

I'm launching a long-form video podcast and looking for an experienced podcast editor to take on the full
season. This is a well-defined package with a clear scope, and I'm looking for someone who can own the
editing end-to-end and deliver a polished, consistent look across every episode and clip.
If this goes well, there's a strong chance of ongoing work on future seasons.

Scope of Work
1. Long-form episodes — 11 total
• Full edit of each episode (raw multi-cam footage, approx. [45–90] minutes per episode)
• Multi-cam switching, cutting dead air, ums/ahs, and tangents
• Color correction and audio cleanup/leveling
• Lower thirds, name titles, intro/outro, and on-screen text where appropriate
• B-roll, graphics, or captions inserted where they add value
• Final export optimized for YouTube (and audio-only version for Spotify/Apple if needed)

2. Short-form clips — 110 total (10 per episode)
• Identify the most engaging, shareable moments from each episode
• Edit into vertical 9:16 clips (30–90 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Animated captions/subtitles, punch-ins, zooms, hooks, and progress bars in the style of the references below

3. Short-form trailers — 11 total (1 per episode)
• 30–60 second vertical trailer teasing each episode
• Fast-paced, hook-driven, designed to drive viewers to the full episode

Editing Style / References
I want the final product to look and feel similar to these podcasts:
• Khloé in Wonder Land (Khloé Kardashian) — ----------
• The Diary of a CEO — ----------
• Better Half Podcast — ----------

Please watch a few episodes and clips from these before applying — clean, premium, high-retention editing with strong pacing and captions.

Requirements
• Proven experience editing both long-form podcast episodes and short-form vertical clips
• Portfolio with podcast-specific work (links to YouTube episodes and Shorts/Reels/TikToks you've
edited)
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro (plus CapCut/After Effects for shorts
is a plus)
• Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and what performs on short-form platforms
• Reliable communication and ability to hit agreed deadlines
• Comfortable working with multi-cam footage and separate audio tracks

Deliverables & Workflow
• Raw footage delivered via [Google Drive / Dropbox / Frame.io]
• Final files delivered in agreed formats and folder structure
