JOB OVERVIEW

PillarStar Capital is a growing U.S. business-funding company looking for an experienced MCA Cold Caller / App Getter to join our team.

This is not an entry-level cold-calling position.

We are specifically looking for someone who already understands Merchant Cash Advance (MCA), alternative business funding, and how to speak confidently with U.S. business owners.

Your primary goal is to turn leads into qualified merchants with completed applications and bank statements.

You will work leads provided by PillarStar and move merchants through:

Lead → Conversation → Interest → Qualification → Application/Bank Statements → Complete Package

Our processing and closing team will handle the later stages of the transaction.

What You Will Do
Make outbound calls to U.S. business owners.
Speak with owners and decision makers.
Identify current or future business-funding needs.
Determine requested funding amount and use of funds.
Ask about monthly business revenue.
Identify existing MCA positions and payments.
Qualify merchants according to PillarStar guidelines.
Request applications and recent business bank statements.
Handle common merchant objections professionally.
Follow up aggressively but professionally with interested merchants.
Re-engage previous leads.
Maintain accurate CRM notes and follow-up dates.
Work closely with processing and closing staff.
Help consistently generate complete funding packages, not just calls.
Who We Are Looking For

2+ years of direct MCA/business-funding experience is strongly preferred.

You should already understand terms such as:

First position
Second position
Stacking
Daily/weekly payments
Bank statements
Revenue qualification
Funding applications

You should also have:

Strong spoken English.
Clear, confident phone presence.
Experience calling U.S. business owners.
Strong objection-handling skills.
Experience asking merchants for applications and bank statements.
CRM and outbound-dialer experience.
Strong follow-up discipline.
Reliable computer and high-speed internet.
Backup internet/power.
Availability during U.S. Eastern business hours.
Compensation

Starting rate: $4.00/hour

Strong candidates with verifiable MCA experience may start higher, up to $5.00/hour.

There will be a 30-day performance review, with opportunities for increases based on results.

You will also earn:

5% of PillarStar Capital's commission actually collected on funded transactions originating from your assigned leads.

Commission is earned only after the transaction funds and PillarStar receives its commission.

As the company grows, strong performers will have opportunities for increased compensation, bonuses, senior sales responsibilities, and advancement into closing roles.

How Performance Is Measured

We care about results, not meaningless dialing.

We measure:

Calls → Merchant Conversations → Interested Merchants → Applications/Statements Requested → Complete Packages → Funded Deals

We also measure call quality, attendance, follow-up, CRM accuracy, professionalism, and package quality.

HOW TO APPLY

Use this subject line:

PILLARSTAR MCA – [Your Name] – [Years of MCA Experience]

Please submit:

1. Your resume

2. A REQUIRED 60–90 second voice sample

In your normal speaking voice:

Introduce yourself.
Tell us how many years of MCA/business-funding experience you have.
Give us a 20–30 second example of how you would open a call with a U.S. business owner.
Then answer this merchant objection:

“I'm not sending you my bank statements until you tell me what rate you're offering.”

Do not submit an AI-generated voice.

Answer These 7 Questions
How many years have you worked specifically in MCA or alternative business funding? What were your roles?
In your most recent MCA role, approximately how many complete applications + bank-statement packages did you personally generate per week?
Approximately how many funded transactions per month originated from your opportunities, if your company tracked this?
Explain the difference between a first-position MCA, second-position MCA, and stacking.
Write exactly what you would say if a merchant tells you:
“I'm not sending statements until you tell me the rate.”
Which MCA CRMs, dialers, or sales platforms have you previously used?
What hourly rate are you currently seeking, and are you available Monday–Friday during U.S. Eastern business hours?

Qualified candidates will be invited to a short interview and live MCA merchant role-play.
