Our US-based ecommerce company is looking for a very experienced and excellent Associate Site Merchandiser who is hard-working, very detail-oriented, analytical, organized, with several years of experience in ecommerce.
It is a FULL-time position (40h/week). This is NOT an entry-level role.
The Associate Site Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring the product assortment across our brands is populated with the appropriate selling attributes; collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define new assortment strategies, test new product categories, and report on performance. Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• 1-3 years of experience in online merchandising.
• High attention to detail, process oriented, strong project management, analytical, problem solving and verbal/written communication skills.
Experience in Platforms:
• Proficient in Shopify, Google Analytics, and Excel.
• Familiar with Content Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the day-to-day management, merchandising and revenue growth of our brands with an emphasis on site productivity, sales growth and conversion. A primary focus of this role is the optimization of the online merchandising strategy to ensure that the right product is in the right place and at the right time. Work with our team in the planning of weekly and monthly product placements and product stories.
• Efficiently on-board new SKUs from our vendor partners, placing those SKUs in the proper categories, adding selling attributes, enriching meta data, and building SEO on-page copy.
• Assist in the development and help maintain the online merchandising and related item strategies to drive sales, conversion rate and overall profitability for the site. Utilize relevant reporting and analysis to communicate online business trends and SKU level performance. Conduct and provide regular competitive analysis to identify best practices and recommend action steps.
• Effectively merchandise products within the product category structure in an effort to influence conversion rate and sales. Utilize all available data points (consumer demand, product inventory, product margin, shipping damage rates, etc.) in an effort to drive profitability for the ecommerce channel. This will include upselling, cross selling, catalog structure management, and creation of product specific landing pages.
• Partner with the team for SEO to positively affect conversion rate and sales through search results. Review customer search behavior to gain an understanding of keyword queries and manipulate the products within the search results page in a manner that drives overall profitability for the ecommerce channel.
