EXPERIENCED CREATORS ONLY — NO BEGINNERS OR TRAINING PROVIDED.

Please apply only if you have personally produced complete long-form faceless YouTube videos, including research, scriptwriting, voiceover production, visual creation/sourcing, and editing.

Applications without relevant, full-length video examples will not be considered. Short-form-only portfolios, showreels, and experience limited to editing supplied scripts and voiceovers are not sufficient for this role.

ABOUT THE ROLE

I’m building an English-language science and curiosity channel inspired by the “What If” format: compelling hypothetical questions explored through engaging storytelling, clear explanations, and strong visuals.

Topics may include space, Earth, technology, animals, and surprising scientific scenarios.

I’m looking for one experienced, independent producer who can take a topic from initial concept to a polished, upload-ready video. This is an ongoing part-time role, not an entry-level VA position.

You must already have a reliable production workflow. I will approve topics, agree on the visual style, and review finished videos. I will not provide scripts, footage folders, prompts, editing tutorials, or daily supervision.

MONTHLY DELIVERABLES

Four complete production packages per month, delivered on an agreed schedule approximately once a week.

Each package includes:

• One original 8–12-minute YouTube video, 16:9, minimum 1080p.
• One 45–60-second vertical promotional Short, 9:16, with captions.
• Two strong thumbnail options.
• Three title options and one finished description.
• A source list supporting the key factual claims.

The Short should work as an engaging standalone teaser that creates interest in the full video—not simply the first minute cropped vertically.

An occasional fifth monthly package will require a separate agreement and additional payment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Propose three promising topics for each upcoming video, with a potential title, a short explanation of the hook, and why viewers would care.

2. After topic approval, independently research and write an original script. Clearly distinguish established facts, assumptions, and speculation. Verify important claims against reliable sources; AI output is not a source.

3. Produce natural-sounding English voiceover. AI narration is welcome, but you must correct pronunciation, awkward delivery, and pacing.

4. Create and source relevant visuals: AI illustrations, stock footage, diagrams, maps, on-screen explanations, and appropriate animation.

5. Edit the complete video with strong opening seconds, clear storytelling, purposeful pacing, music, and sound design.

6. Create packaging that earns attention honestly. Titles and thumbnails should create curiosity without inventing events or promising something the video does not deliver.

7. Quality-check everything before delivery. I should be reviewing a finished product, not finding obvious mistakes or teaching the production process.

QUALITY EXPECTATIONS

• Strong written English and a genuine interest in science and curiosity-driven storytelling.
• A compelling hook and a coherent progression toward a satisfying answer.
• Visuals that explain and support the narration.
• Consistent visual style and clean audio.
• No generic AI slideshows, copied scripts, recycled compilations, or random footage used to fill time.
• Properly sourced assets suitable for commercial use.
• Reliable delivery without repeated reminders.
• Ability to handle a consolidated revision round independently.

We take inspiration from successful formats, but create our own scripts, visuals, and channel identity.

COMPENSATION AND WORKING ARRANGEMENT

• $600 USD per month for four complete production packages.
• Approved production tools paid separately by me, with an initial budget of up to $100/month.
• Approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
• One consolidated revision round per package is included. Factual, technical, or agreed-specification errors must be corrected before final delivery.
• No required daily meetings.

You may propose your existing toolset. You do not need to use a specific editing application, but you must already know how to produce this type of content within the agreed budget.

HIRING PROCESS

Shortlisted candidates will be offered one paid pilot package at $150, with scope and payment terms agreed before work begins. No unpaid custom video is required to apply.

We will agree on the initial visual direction before you produce the pilot. Ongoing work depends on the quality of the finished package, your independence, and reliable delivery—not promises of guaranteed views.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Links to 2–3 published, full-length faceless videos you personally worked on. At least one must demonstrate full-cycle production. State exactly which parts you handled and what, if anything, the client supplied.

2. Identify the example closest to what you could realistically deliver at this budget and explain why.

3. One science/what-if topic you would propose for this channel, with a potential title and a brief explanation of the opening hook. No full script is required.

4. Your production tools and any subscriptions we would need to provide.

5. Your estimated turnaround time, weekly availability, and confirmation that you can deliver four complete packages per month for $600.

6. If available, share performance or retention results for your work, explaining your contribution. Do not share confidential client information.

Please answer these points directly rather than sending a generic cover letter.

If you need training, supplied scripts, or ongoing step-by-step direction, this role is not a fit.
