About Us

We are a Quantity Surveying (QS) company based in Surrey, UK, working with both contractors and homeowners. Our work often involves explaining costs, processes, and decisions that can feel complex or overwhelming — and we believe clear, well-made video content is the best way to do that.

The Role

We’re looking for a freelance Video Content Creator to produce engaging, easy-to-understand videos that explain:

What we do as a QS company
How we support contractors and homeowners
Common questions around construction costs, budgets, and processes
These videos will be used across our website, social media, and client-facing content.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creating short-form and long-form explainer videos
Turning QS and construction concepts into clear, client-friendly content
Writing or refining scripts and outlines
Filming, editing, and delivering polished videos suitable for web and social platforms
Advising on video formats and styles that perform well online
Making revisions based on feedback

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience creating explainer or educational video content
Strong storytelling and communication skills
Ability to simplify technical or professional topics
Experience creating content for websites and social media
Confident working independently and meeting agreed deadlines

Nice to Have

Experience working with construction, property, or professional services
Understanding of UK construction or QS-related topics
On-camera presence or animation/motion graphics capability
