Role Overview
This role exists to keep WKR operationally clean.
You will own three core systems:
Daily customer service operations
Transaction tracking & bookkeeping
3PL correspondence and issue resolution
This is not an entry-level role.
We are only looking for A-Players who are precise, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
Core Responsibilities
1. Customer Service (Shopify)
You will be responsible for clearing the entire support inbox every weekday.
This includes:
Logging into Shopify customer support daily
Responding to all customer inquiries clearly and professionally
Managing returns and exchanges using internal Google Sheets
Coordinating with the 3PL via their correspondence portal for:
Returns
Exchanges
Lost or damaged packages
Fulfillment issues
Maintaining clean, documented communication across all platforms
Shopify customer service experience is highly sought after.
2. Bookkeeping & Transaction Tracking (Mandatory Experience)
This is a non-negotiable skill requirement.
You will:
Log into American Express and Chase accounts daily
Record all new transactions into structured Google Sheets
Categorize expenses accurately
Track:
Week-to-week profitability
Operating expenses
Cash flow trends
Maintain clean, organized financial records
You must have:
Experience with bookkeeping or accounting principles
Strong data entry accuracy
Comfort working with financial data daily
Experience maintaining Google Sheets used for financial tracking
If you do not have bookkeeping or accounting experience, do not apply.
3. 3PL Correspondence & Operations Support
You will:
Communicate with the 3PL as needed regarding customer issues
Track open cases and ensure timely resolution
Keep internal records updated so nothing falls through the cracks
What Success Looks Like
Customer inbox is cleared every weekday
Financial records are updated daily and error-free
No missed transactions, no unresolved tickets
Founder never needs to “check in” on your work
You operate quietly, consistently, and correctly.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting (mandatory)
Experience with Shopify customer service (highly preferred)
Detail-oriented and organized
Self-directed and reliable
Comfortable handling financial data
Calm, professional communicator
