We are looking for an assistant who can support event operations and administrative tasks for an education company running speech, debate, and writing programs. This role combines ongoing online work with occasional in-person event support.
Immediate opportunity: You will begin with approximately 20 hours of online work preparing for the English Speaking Championship Vietnam (ESCV) in Hanoi, then travel to the event on the weekend of January 24–25 to assist on-site. Flight, lodging, and meals will be covered, plus a performance bonus based on your contribution at the event.
After the event, you will continue with 20 hours per week of online administrative and event support, with potential for additional hours and future travel opportunities.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
English fluency (spoken and written)
Your own laptop or tablet
Reliable internet connection
Valid passport (required for travel)
Ability to travel internationally on short notice
Strong organizational and communication skills
Available to work KST-based hours

Experience coordinating events, logistics, or travel

PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in speech, debate, or academic competitions
Prior event management or on-site coordination experience
Experience as an executive or personal assistant
Familiarity with Google Workspace
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Event Support (Online — Starting Immediately)
Assist with event preparation and logistics
Update registration lists and participant records
Coordinate communications with judges, competitors, and staff
Prepare materials and documents for the event
Research and confirm travel and venue details
Event Support (On-Site — January 24–25)
Assist with registration, check-in, and participant coordination
Support logistics: room setup, timing, materials
Communicate with judges, competitors, and staff
Troubleshoot issues as they arise
Represent the organization professionally
Ongoing Administrative Support (Online — After Event)
Manage
Update spreadsheets, records, and documents
Research tournaments, venues, and vendors
Coordinate schedules and logistics for future events
Prepare materials and reports as needed
WORK HOURS
Pre-Event: ~20 hours online (starting immediately)
Travel: January 24–25, 2026 — Hanoi, Vietnam (ESCV)
Ongoing: 20 hours per week (flexible, KST-based schedule)
Future travel opportunities may arise based on performance.
PAYMENT
Online work: 5,000 KRW/hour (?200 PHP/hour)
Estimated monthly pay: ~20,000 PHP
Travel: Flight, lodging, and meals covered + performance bonus
