JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:

We’re hiring an Engagement Strategist to act as the voice and connector for the personal brands we manage.
This role is not about posting content.
It’s about starting conversations.
You will engage on behalf of our clients inside comments, replies, and DMs to build relationships, create familiarity, and naturally guide conversations toward a next step when appropriate.

Core Responsibilities:

Social Media Engagement & Relationship Building
– Engage on other people’s content to spark natural conversations
– Respond to comments, replies, and DMs in each client’s brand voice
– Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to keep conversations moving
– Recognize when to transition a conversation toward connection or booking
– Maintain professionalism, warmth, and clarity in all written communication

Story & Light Content Support
– Assist with Instagram Stories (text, polls, replies, short clips)
– Repurpose approved content across platforms when needed

Tracking & Admin
– Track daily engagement activity (comments, DMs, conversations started)
– Monitor response quality and engagement patterns
– Assist with light content scrubbing for short video clips

Required Skills & Traits
– Excellent written English (grammar, tone, vocabulary, clarity are non-negotiable)
– Strong conversational instincts and emotional intelligence
– Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn (comments, DMs, Stories, basic analytics)
– Ability to sound human and brand-aligned, never scripted or robotic
– Organized, self-directed, and comfortable with feedback

Working Hours:
This role has set engagement windows:
– 4:00am–7:00am PST
– 3:00pm–6:00pm PST
– Monday through Thursday minimum
Occasional brief admin tasks may occur outside these windows.

To Apply:
Step 1: Loom Video (Required)
Please record a 5–7 minute Loom answering the prompts below. We’re looking for how you think, speak, and write, not perfection.
1. Instagram Experience
How do you personally use Instagram day to day, and what features do you use most (comments, DMs, Stories, etc.)?
2. Starting Conversations
If you were networking on behalf of a client, how would you leave comments that feel natural and start real conversations?
3. Guiding Toward a Next Step
How would you naturally move a conversation from casual engagement to a potential call or appointment without sounding salesy?
4. Tone & Voice
How do you adjust your language when speaking on behalf of someone else’s brand?

Step 2: Written Questions (After Loom Review)
If your Loom is a fit, we’ll ask you to answer the questions below:
Q1: On a scale of 1–10, how confident are you using Instagram’s tools (comments, DMs, Stories, analytics)? Why?
Q2: Share an example of an online interaction that turned into a real relationship, opportunity, or next step.
Q3: How do you d ---------- when to keep a conversation casual versus when to guide it toward a next step?
Q4: How do you ensure your written English stays clear, professional, and aligned with someone else’s voice?
Q5: Are you open to a short paid test project (1 hour or less) to demonstrate engagement and comment strategy?

Step 3: Test Project
Selected candidates will receive a short paid engagement exercise using real examples so we can evaluate comment quality, DM tone, conversation flow, and judgment.
