Job Title: Employment Law Paralegal (U.S. Experience Required)
Location: Remote
Work Schedule: Full-time, Pacific Standard Time (PST) | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rate: $7.00 – $10.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Employment Law Paralegal with hands-on experience in U.S. employment law. This is a remote position open to qualified candidates who have directly supported U.S.-based employers, law firms, or legal teams handling employment-related matters.
Important: Applicants must clearly declare the employer or organization where they gained their U.S. employment law experience.
Being a licensed lawyer in the Philippines is a strong advantage, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with U.S. employment law matters, including but not limited to:
Wrongful termination
Workplace discrimination and harassment
Wage and hour disputes
Employee contracts and compliance
Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Conduct legal research on U.S. federal and state employment laws
Manage case files, deadlines, and documentation
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties as needed
Support case preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials
Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all legal documentation
Qualifications
Mandatory: Proven experience in U.S. Employment Law (must specify employer where experience was obtained)
Bachelor’s degree in any field (required); coursework or training in legal studies, political science, or related fields is preferred
Strong understanding of U.S. labor and employment regulations
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
Preferred:
Law degree (Philippines)
Experience working with U.S.-based law firms or legal outsourcing companies
