Email Designer (DTC E-commerce)

Social Scout is a fast-growing email marketing agency working with direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands. We design and manage high-performing, conversion-focused email programs for brands that care about aesthetics, clarity, and results.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an Email Designer to design high-converting, graphic-first emails for DTC brands. You’ll work closely with copywriters and strategists to turn short-form copy into clean, beautiful, scroll-stopping email designs.

This is a production-focused role for someone who understands email design specifically—not web, not social.

Responsibilities

Design graphic-heavy, conversion-focused emails

Create email designs for campaigns and automated flows

Collaborate closely with copywriters (designing around short, punchy copy)

Adapt quickly to multiple brand styles and guidelines

Maintain consistency and high visual standards across all designs

Design with mobile-first best practices

Deliver fast turnarounds while maintaining quality

Expectations

Design all emails in Figma

Create 6–8 high-quality, visually polished email designs per day

Maintain strong visual hierarchy, clarity, and brand alignment

Be responsive and reliable during 9–5 EST work hours

Handle feedback quickly and iterate efficiently

Requirements

Proven experience designing emails for DTC e-commerce brands

Strong eye for layout, typography, and composition

Deep understanding of email-specific design constraints

Proficiency in Figma (required)

Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality

Fluent written English for collaboration

Nice to Have

Experience working with email agencies

Familiarity with Klaviyo or ESP email modules

Understanding of conversion-focused design principles
