JOB OVERVIEW

About the role
We're Nomadd Marketing, an email and SMS marketing agency for e-commerce brands. This is a graphic design role focused on designing emails for our clients.

What you'll do
- Design email campaigns in Figma for [4-6] assigned client accounts
- Work from a written design brief for each email, following it closely on copy, hierarchy, featured products, and intent
- Write the email copy using Claude, our AI tool, following the brief and each client's brand voice guidelines
- Apply client brand guidelines so every email is cohesive and unmistakably on-brand
- Design for email specifically: mobile-first layouts, readable type at small sizes, correct image dimensions and file sizes, dark mode considerations
- Pull product photography and assets from client-provided libraries and shared drives
- Use and extend our existing Figma templates and design systems rather than starting from scratch each time
- Submit work for internal review, then apply feedback from your account manager and the client
- Upload design links and keep your tasks updated in ---------- so the team always knows where things stand
- QA your own work before it goes out: typos, wrong prices, off-brand colors, misaligned elements, missing links

What we're looking for
- Strong portfolio showing photography placement, composition, and typography skills
- Fluent in Figma. This is where all of our design work happens
- Fluent written and spoken English. You'll be writing customer-facing copy, so strong written English is essential
- Familiar with US culture and consumer brands. You'll be designing for American shoppers, so you need to understand the tone, holidays, and references that land with them
- Able to work in different visual styles depending on the brand, not just one signature look
- Able to read a brief carefully and execute it accurately, and to ask a clarifying question when something is unclear or missing
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to hit deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment and flag issues early when something is at risk

Nice to have
- 1+ years of graphic design experience
- Previous email design experience
- Copywriting experience
- Experience using AI tools in a professional workflow
- Experience with a US-based agency or multiple concurrent clients
- Familiarity with e-commerce and Shopify brands
- Basic animation or GIF creation for email
- Experience working within an established design system
