About Newfive
Newfive is a digital agency based in the Netherlands specializing in Shopify (Plus) development, Klaviyo email marketing, and performance design. We work with e-commerce brands across the Netherlands and Belgium. Our team is remote and distributed.
The role
We are looking for a talented email designer who can translate brand identities into high-converting Klaviyo email campaigns and flows. You will work on multiple client accounts, designing both standalone campaigns and automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.). This is a project-based or part-time remote role. You work in your own timezone and deliver clean, on-brand work on agreed deadlines.
What you will do

Design Klaviyo email templates (campaigns and automated flows) that match brand guidelines and convert
Build and style emails directly in Klaviyo using the drag-and-drop editor or custom HTML blocks
Create ad visuals for Meta (Facebook and Instagram), 4x5 ratio, feed and story formats
Work from client Shopify stores to extract product imagery, brand colors, and style direction
Adapt designs across multiple e-commerce brands with different visual identities
Communicate clearly with the Newfive team on progress, revisions, and delivery timelines

What we are looking for

Proven experience designing emails in Klaviyo. You know the platform, not just email design in general
Strong visual design skills: clean layouts, good typography, solid understanding of hierarchy and whitespace
Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or a similar design tool
Ability to work across multiple brand identities without making everything look the same
Good English communication, written and async-first
Self-directed. You can manage a brief, ask the right questions, and deliver without hand-holding
E-commerce background is a strong plus. Bonus points if you have worked with Shopify brands

Nice to have

Experience designing Meta ads alongside email work
Basic understanding of email performance (open rate, CTR, conversions)
Familiarity with Dutch or European e-commerce brands
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for custom Klaviyo email blocks

Fully remote. Async-first. We do not micromanage. We care about output. You will receive clear briefs with brand assets, target audience context, and copy. Feedback rounds are short. We move fast and appreciate people who do the same.
